Software jobs

The Sensor Software Structure Program Office on the Sensors and Electromagnetic Programs Laboratory (SEAL) can be seeking  researchers having experience in high-performance computing to promote the development of real-time or elsewhere high- performance sensor digesting applications. Responsibilities include pattern and architecture progress of state-of-the-art  programs and complex real-time algorithms for radar and some other sensors.

Requirements

Knowledge:

Master's or Ph. D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Pc Engineering, Math, or maybe Physics

Skills:
In addition, the ideal candidate could have these qualifications:
• An awareness of computer architecture because it relates to each high-level HPC pattern and low-level seo
• Multi-threaded coding (e. g., pthreads, OpenMP, TBB, etc. )
• Efficiency programming (e. g., vectorization, cache-aware algorithms, low-level seo, profile-driven development)
• Heterogeneous/accelerator coding (e. g., GPUs or maybe Xeon Phi employing CUDA, OpenCL, etc. )
• Any background in indication processing and/or linear algebra
• Understanding of high-speed networking (e. g., 10/40 GbE, Infiniband)
• C/C++

Preferential factor to those prospects with:
• A sound understanding of algorithmic intricacy
• Ability to be effective both independently and in a distributed team
• Distributed along with parallel programming (e. g., MPI)
• Any background in radar programs and related algorithms
• Experience with real-time operating systems

Other Candidates need to be US citizens able to have a Department of Security security clearance. Selection process includes  passing a pre-employment qualifications screening.
